Lisa wasn't with me in Perry the other day, so I posted the few photos that were taken on my camera. Here are some more, taken by the librarians. (Thanks for sending them to me!)

Stillwater

We had three super-fine shows at the Stillwater library today!

Does this red curtain look familiar?

Does it? That could be because the photo for my latest CD cover ("Let's Get Creative, with Monty Harper and Mr. Billy) was taken on this very same stage!

Lisa finally caught me with my finger in my mouth, teaching the kids how to "pop" for "The Brainiacs."

Evalyn and I did a lot of CD signing and talking with fans after each show.

Summer Reading Winners, and a Big Yellow Spider!

I donated ten classroom visits to the Stillwater public library, which they awarded to ten of their top readers this past summer. So this week I've been visiting a few classrooms here in Stillwater.

Look what I saw out the kitchen window the other day! Lisa took this awesome photo of our new friend. Against the kitchen blinds in the background you can kind of get an idea how big she is - she's big! If you look closely you can see that she's missing one leg. Evalyn named her "Zig Zag" - can you see why? We call her "Ziggy" for short. We know she's a "she" and not a "he" because I googled "black yellow spider zig zag web" and found out all about her kind. Try it!

Stillwater

Today we did three shows at my hometown library here in Stillwater. This is always a treat, not just because we don't have to travel, but they know me here. The audiences are great. My parents and Lisa's mom and sister get to see the show. And we get to socialize a bit with the librarians over lunch.

Sales were fantastic today - we sold 54 items! Of course that means I'm up late restocking the sales box and calling in all the credit card sales.

I passed something of a milestone, too, while bringing CDs in from the garage. I opened up the last box of 100 Jungle Junk! CDs. Here's something for you Jungle Junk! fans out there to know: after these last 100 are gone, I don't plan on making any more. Sales of my earlier CDs are too slow to justify filling the garage with another 1,000 copies (that's the minimum order that makes any financial sense). But take heart - one of these days I'll probably re-release the songs in some form, and they'll always be available for download at iTunes.

Tomorrow we'll be performing outside (weather permitting!) in Perry. See you at the library!
